Plantains are generally absent from the traditional American palate, and yet they are wildly popular in cultures around the globe, in a variety of different dishes. Here at Amazi, we are bringing this powerhouse prebiotic fruit from our farmers in Uganda into mainstream U.S. diets via our dried and roasted plantain chips!

At Amazi, our intention to give is inherent to our business model. We decided to use Giving Tuesday as an opportunity to hold ourselves accountable and share some of the ways in which we’ve worked to increase impact over the past several months, and how we hope to improve in the year to come.

"Weekend farmers" are able to innovate and be involved in every step of the process when we create internal supply chains.
