Plantain chips can be a wonderful snack on their own, but aren't chips really just a vehicle for yummy dips? 
Guacamole, buffalo, garlicky hummus...QUESO?? 

 

 

When just chips just aren't cutting it, and you need some extra flavor and texture, try one (or all!) of these dips. Whether you're a dab-my-chip-in-the-bowl-once type of dipper, or a scoop-a-small-mountain person - all of these would complement our plantain chips perfectly! Click the titles to get the recipes. 1. Roasted Jalapeno Vegan Queso

The fact that cashews can be made into a cheesy treat makes me believe I can be anything. This would also be super good to pour on top of plantain chips nachos!

2. White Bean Dip with Avocado and Cilantro

Another pretty one, this blend of sweet potatoes and spices could pair well with both our savory and sweet flavors. 

 

4. Costa Rican Black Bean Dip

Plantain chips and black beans are kind of like peas and carrots, right? It's just a friendship that runs so deep - The Gayle to her Oprah. This flavor combo of sweet plantains and savory black beans could be a fun appetizer, or if you're like me, it would just be the entire meal. For 3 meals straight. 

 

5. Cinnamon Peanut Butter Dip

Sub out the greek yogurt for a dairy-free alternative to keep it vegan, or swap out the peanut butter for your favorite nut butter blend. Granola butter sounds amazing in this - add raisins, cacao nibs, or seeds for extra texture!
